Although the room was quite comfortable, we didn't get much sleep because there was so much noise out in the hall. Something else,,,,my iphone charger was stolen while we were out for the day. Why would you steal that? We won't stay there again nor will we reccomend it.
Pros: Location, friendly staff, comfortable beds
Cons: Noise....alot & the breakfast was WAY overpriced.

This newly remodeled, used-to-be Westin, is very nice for the price we paid. The beds are remarkably comfortable (and we have a Tempurpedic at home!); all four of our party agreed. The rooms are spacious, attractive, clean, and have all the amenities. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. About a block from the trolley, which is fun and only $1, the hotel is also within easy walking distance to Beale Street--we were there for the International Blues Competition. We will return for Memphis in May!
Don't stay at the Wyndham Garden Hotel!! Reviewed by HelloMetro User on

I was in Memphis for two months and stayed at this dumpy hotel. It is not worthy of the 'Wyndham' name. It was dirty, the food was bad, and I had to switch rooms four times. They were in the midst of a renovation to become a Crowne Plaza, but I don't think they have any plans to fix the elevators which rarely worked.
On the plus side, the staff was quite helpful, and definitely tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. But with the random power outages, and the water not always working, this hotel needs to be shut down, gutted, and completely redone before it can be called a Wyndham or Crowne Plaza or whatever it will be.
